Danny Pignato — Owner & Lead Designer
Danny Pignato has worked in the landscape industry for over a decade, with deep experience in both design and hands-on installation. His passion is crafting native-plant landscapes that feel natural, welcoming, and ecologically resilient — places that invite life, beauty, and a sense of place.
Danny studied horticulture and viticulture, combining plant science with ecological design principles. After school he went on to work as a horticulturalist at the Chicago Botanic Garden and in the off season completed multiple international internships, working on vineyards and olive farms, where he gained firsthand experience with sustainable growing techniques, soil health, Mediterranean planting strategies, and long-term land stewardship.
In addition to landscape design, Danny also makes wine and grows grapes, a craft that fuels his understanding of terroir, climate, plant behavior, and the rhythms of the natural world — all of which deeply influence his design philosophy.
